The world's first portable gluten sensor - Nima Review

Nima Gluten Device.jpg

Giving up gluten has been great, though I do miss beer a bit. I’ve been completely gluten-free for almost five years and whilst my friends sometimes roll their eyes when I ask for the gluten-free menu, I know it makes me and my stomach feel considerably better.

So I’ve been waiting for this for a while, the world’s first portable gluten sensor.

Nima is a great idea, and has just come on sale in the UK here, and the US here.

It’s not cheap, but for the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you are eating I’m in. I know plenty of the readers of this blog are gluten-free too so let me know what you think of this?

UPDATE: I took this on holiday recently to Jordan. I used it twice on food I had been assured was gluten-free but wasn’t quite sure about, and on one occasion it came up as positive. So I dodged the bullet a little bit there and I was thrilled it gave me that info.
