Olympic persuasion skills

[1 minute self-development] No, this is not an aggressive version of Twister. It's Greco-Roman wrestling, and thousands of us Brits have ended up with tickets for it at the Olympics.

A year ago I wrote about the genius way in which 2012 organisers had sold the millions of tickets on offer.  The secret that had persuaded British sports fans to stumble bleary-eyed out of bed at 6am to book for events that they never knew they wanted to see.

Now we know we didn't need to get up so early, because guess what, there's still plenty of tickets on sale for Olympic events that of course start in less than three weeks time.  You don't believe me? Click here or here or here.

So, next time you want to persuade anyone of anything, use some Olympic persuasive spirit - click here for the article, and "make them realise the deal is not going to be there forever"
